Microseismic Temporal-Spatial Precursory Characteristics and Early Warning Method of Rockburst in Steeply Inclined and Extremely Thick Coal Seam

Early warning of a potential rockburst risk and its area occurrence helps to take effective targeted measures mitigate hazards. This study investigates the microseismic (MS) spatial-temporal precursory characteristic parameters in typical steeply inclined extremely thick coal seam (SIETCS) with high proposes three spatial/temporal quantification early method. Analysis results temporal show that sharp-rise-sharp-drop variation total daily energy event count can be regarded as precursor for tremor. The appearance peak values both deviation (≥20) (≥1) precursors indicate imminent danger. A laboratory acoustic emission (AE) experiment reveals characteristics obtained from feasibly used warn risk. spatial evolution laws density index MS (EDIM), velocity, velocity anomaly regions correlate well stress concentration areas. field application verifies temporal-spatial method identify sequence areas during period.
